Special E is a unique green business that rescues items which are left over from "Special Events" such as weddings, private parties, galas and fundraisers…then recycles and re-purposes them in ways that help our planet and people in need. Planning a trade show, conference or company meeting? We'll also collect materials that are left behind from these programs and put them to good use.
The leftovers we rescue include food, food scrap, recyclables, floral arrangements, centerpieces, decorations, promotional products, hotel room amenities, meeting and event supplies, and much, much more. We developed this service in response to the growing demand from companies and individuals who are looking to make the programs they plan more environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible.
Following an event, we'll re-direct these items to food banks, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, food pantries, missions, churches, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, recycling centers, compost facilities, and a wide range of relief agencies and charitable organizations around the world.
Every year, thousands of meetings and events take place throughout the world. Rescuing, recycling and re-purposing the excess from such programs as well as the venues that host them can go a long way towards helping our planet and the people (and animals) that inhabit it.
